Step 1: Sourcing Multiple Versions
We started with four versions of the same bag, each from a different trusted factory. On the surface, they all claimed to be “top quality.” But claims mean nothing — the proof is in the details.
Step 2: Comparing Side by Side
Shape & Silhouette
One version was eliminated immediately. The body was too stiff and boxy, nothing like the authentic’s natural curve.
Hardware
Another didn’t pass the hardware test. The tone was overly yellow, and the weight felt wrong in hand. Authentic hardware has a distinct shine and heft that cheap one.
Print & Pattern
Of the two left, one showed wrong patterns on the front. The monogram was just slightly diff — but in person, that small difference was enough to give it away.
Details & Finishing
That left us with one final candidate. We compare with the lining, one uses a black lining — totally wrong. The other three all use striped canvas like the authentic, though the final one is slightly brown.
